Our annual "Celebration of Community" Art Show is here! We invited artists of all kinds from our wider community to participate.
Enjoy the wide variety of art: painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media.
We will have an opening reception at 6:00pm along with awards for this juried show.
Thank you social justice leaders and volunteers! We are hosting a coffeehour - light lunch in your honor after the 10:30am service.
Along with those who participate in Project Home, Loaves and Fishes and the Blue House, we will also celebrate our daily social justices ministries (tutoring, caregiving, mentoring, etc)
Join St. Matthew's parishioners Doug Franzen and Pat Peterson for dwelling in the word and discussion of the spiritual practice of simplicity.
Doug and Pat recently sold their family home and moved to a smaller apartment. It became an unexpected experience in which they found their lives becoming simpler and happier.
All are welcome!
Join Parishioner Dan White for a discussion and evaluation of our recent Generosity campaign - our annual pledge drive.
We will hear what people liked and what they struggled with - all are welcome
The Generosity discussion will be continued on February 19 as well.
Every second Sunday of the month we host a Taize Candlelight Prayer - a contemplative service with sung chants, prayers and silence. All are welcome!
Our Thursday night Lenten Series will explore Christine Pohl's book, Living Into Community: Cultivating Practices that Sustain Us.
Pohl offers careful analysis of four core practices that sustain healthy community: gratitude, promise-keeping, truthfulness and hospitality.
Join us on four consecutive Thursdays, March 2, 9, 16 and 23. Plan to come for a simple soup supper before the discussion at 6:00pm
