If you answer yes to these questions, then you have much in common with the members of St. Matthew's. We are on a collective spiritual journey, trying to better understand our faith and how to apply it to our lives in this time and places.  We invite you to join us on our journey.

St. Matthew's offers several opportunities for study and discussion.  Even if you come in the middle of a series, you can quickly come up to speed. The listings below show our current offerings.

Sundays
Faith Forum.  A weekly discussion group on faith topics led by the clergy and guest speakers from the community and Luther Seminary that meets between Sunday services from 9:15-10:15 a.m.  The Forum topics encompass spiritual practices, current issues, and new scholarship.  All are welcome. See the current schedule here.

Sunday Morning Reading Group.  A weekly book discussion group that also meets during the all-ages education hour,  from 9:15-10:15 a.m. on Sundays.  The group chooses its books based on the typically diverse and free-ranging interests of the participants. For more information and the current reading and schedule, contact leader Randy Croce.  

Wednesdays
Noonday Prayer and Bible Study.  Every Wedneday at noon, Rector Blair Pogue conducts a short noonday prayer service.  Following the service, she leads a discussion of the Bible readings for the coming Sunday.  You can bring a bag lunch and count on being done by 1:00 p.m. 

Other Times
Special Seminars.  During Lent and at other times of the year, St. Matthew's runs special seminar series on faith topics.  These seminars usually meet in the evening and will have several sessions on the same topic.
